Hello! Very excited about the giveaway. I “liked” Superhooper on FB, too. I am a very beginner hooper and working on all the basics. I hope that one day I’ll be able to move smoothly and transition easily!
Loving Polypro!!!!!!
Put it on my Facebook page
Also “liked” you on facebook!
I finally got the 3 beat weave down! Now I’m practicing transitions in and out of the weave. I bet super pretty polypro hoops would make it even easier! *wink*
I liked Superhooper on Facebook. You know…because they are SUPER!
I’m already on The Hooping Family Tree!

Just liked the Facebook page and am going to FB and tweet, now!
I’m learning the basics with my hoop but get better and more fluid every day!
Omg!! Sara this may just be the best giveaway ever!!!!!! I liked superhooper and I am crossing every appendage I have!!!!!
Shared the giveaway on my fb page. I am took excited about this giveaway!!!!! I absolutely must win!!!!!!! I hope so anyway 🙂
I “liked” superhooer on FB just now!
What an amazing giveaway! These hoops look awesome. I am working on fluidity and flow and realizing that light touches transition smoother as well as getting out of the head and being “one” with the hoop. I’m still pretty much a beginner, but the hoop is becoming more of an extension of my body every day and I absolutely love it!! Thanks for the offer!
After trying to hoop at the end of last summer, I’ve actually been practicing diligently and I’m loving it! Yesterday shoulder hooping finally clicked with me. Before I was really stiff, trying to nail the move but when I let go and just flowed my body responded to the hoop and the hoop responded to my body. It was so exciting! I can’t wait to keep learning all sorts of new tricks.
I’m currently working on shoulder and elbow transitions. My summer hooping goal is to go polypro by the end…this would totally help!!! Hoop on…
I also “liked” Superhooper on Facebook.
I “Like” superhooper!
I’m currently working on chest hooping (almost got it, just can’t figure out how to do it on purpose! LOL) I’d love getting these hoops… I want twin minis (for arms/ hands) and a bigger light hoop (38″). And I’d probably give away a few to my two hoop mamas.
I’m on the tree as your daughter and should have some offspring soon!
I could have sworn I already liked superhooper, but I guess I hadn’t: liked!
I started getting into hooping about a year ago and really pursued learning more about the joy of hooping when I moved to Germany last year and made new friends there who also loved hooping! I’m still a beginner and have been a little intimidated to try new things with hooping (especially after my last inside hooping session… at my in laws house…. where I knocked over a glass candle holder…. whooops!)Since I have been back in the States I have been trying to find some more hoopers in my community! My huz and I just moved into a new place with a cute little backyard that I’m thinking with be perf for hooping magic!
Facebooked it for all my hooper-star friends!
YAY!!!!! I just made a poly pro hoop for myself, and currently i am working on shoulder roll variations! i am already a friend on facebook, part of the family tree, and i am getting ready to post it to my profile right now!!!! 🙂
Just submitted my info to the Hooping Family Tree. Yay!
Just added myself to the hoooping family tree- and even listed you as my hoop parent 🙂 My name on there is “Elyse”.
my lastest discovery inside the hoop is learning how blocked and stiff my body can be .. the resistance to movement but if i will keep at it my body will let loose and get freed up!! amazingly healing!!

Oh my goodness Sara! What a stinkin’ fabulous giveaway.
The move that I’m working on and probably will be working on for the next several months is how to hoop with an ever expanding belly. Pregnant and hooping. 🙂
Liking Superhooper on Facebook!!
Polypro Prism Pack… say that 5 times fast! LOL!
New move I’m working on now is (I don’t know the technical name) the jump through!
I “like” Super Hooper on FB!
I recently discovered I am a seasonal hooper…I hate the thought of hooping in layers throughout the winter and I can’t wait to get back into it with this warmer weather the northeast has been seeing!
Wowzah! This is phenomenal. Such pretty colors!
I have been working extra hard on perfecting this combination I put together that is comprised of:
An isolation, into an isolation barrel roll, into the sliding door, into the opposite side’s isolated barrel roll, and then back to a regular isolation.
i have been going back and forth repeating this move and have SO much fun doing it!

I’m very new to hopping, and my family all of us are having fun learning, mostly me and my almost seven year old son, these would be great for when we have friends over or to take to the park to share the hoop love!
Added my info to the hooping tree (I had been meaning to, but deciding on who to put as my hooping parent tripped me up! It still does, but whatever. I put the friend who’s hoop I first used, and the hooper that made it for her as my second. Though really, it was my husband who showed me how to do it!)

Discovered that putting lots of hoops on the ground during a dance class for 2-3 yr olds results in a hopsocht like game of craziness. 🙂
Liked you on Facebook, Shared on Facebook and Twitter.
I’m working on my barrel roll and I’ve found it’s alot easier with a polypro! 🙂
I’ve been working hard on completing a 360 degree turn while I’m weaving. Today I walked into my school’s gym and discovered the circus arts kids had just got new LED toys—poi (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I picked up a pair and began weaving, then reverse weaving, then 3 beat weaving, and finally doing 360s. What a breakthrough…and with my nondominant prop. I cannot wait to get home and play with my twins today! I also think that I might need to buy myself a pair of LED poi 🙂
i have no cool moves to share, but i could use some hoops to learn. thanks for the giveaway!
i already like superhoops on facebook
What a GENEROUS giveaway!!!! I’m working on moving the hoop up from my waist to the chest.

My favorite new move I’ve come up with is what I call a “weave wrap”: start out in a forward weave, when the hoop is on my opposite side, stick your elbow out and toss the hoop around. Then you can either grab it in the weaving hand and continue the weave, or trap it under your arm, turn 180 degrees and swap directions. Kind of hard to explain, I plan on making a video soon!
I’ve discovered that I need to be hooping with my newly decorated 100 psi hoop! It’s too nice of a day to not be outside : )
I am just learning how to hoop! So much fun!! Unfortunately I only have an old kiddie hoop which makes it difficult for me to try the moves I see you guys do. I would really love to have some “pro” hoops to use and to share with my sister and friends here in Chicago! BTW, familiar with any hoopers in the Chicago area?? Would love to connect.

I have been hooping for over 3 years now and I am amazed at the endless possibilities that happen whilst in my hoop. I have been spending a lot of time thinking and manifesting spreading the hoop love in this big old state of Wyoming. The best ideas come while I am moving my body and finding new ways of manipulating myself and “old” tricks. I have learned that you can make the even the basic of moves more fantastic every time when you put your energy into them and really hon the skill. I hope that my experience with my hoops affect other people and their journey in a positive way. I have wanted to get a poly pro for a while now. Regardless if I win this give away or not, I will be getting one of these pretty beauties 🙂 Much Love ~ ❤ Cally from WYO Hoops For Life

This is an awesome giveaway! Right now I am working on anti-spin and flow, I’m really starting to find my rhythm in the hoop.
I’ve been hooping for almost three years now. Currently, I’m working on learning all the tricks I’ve learned and basic hooping in the opposite direction (not really sure why I didn’t do this starting out). I live in a small town so hoop materials and hooping friends are hard to come by. However, in the past year I’ve introduced five people into hooping and it’s such an awesome feeling. I’ve “liked” Superhooper on Facebook already and joined The Hooping Family Tree. I’ve got my fingers crossed!!!
I “liked” superhooper a long time ago…and I still do 🙂

I have never even tried hooping before! SO silly, as all my friends do already. I desperately want to try it for myself, and be a good role model for my little toddler who loves to always move and shake it! Don’t have a hoop yet, so I would be so excited to win!!
Wish I could post about a new move, but I’ve never hooped before. Hoping to win so I can have some hoops and give it a try!!

I’ve been a fan on Facebook for a while so I got that one covered. 😉 My recent discovery isn’t a move but a person. I bought a hoop 2 years ago but didn’t do much with it. I couldn’t figure out tricks and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. I attended a local class thinking it would help, but alas…not much was gained from it. Everything has changed now, thanks to Rebecca DeShon. She is such a wonderful instructor, teaching me tricks and bumping up my confidence in class. Sometimes you forget that everyone starts out as a beginner, and that you shouldn’t get frustrated with yourself. Rebecca has such a dynamic and positive energy about her; she’s constantly encouraging us. Learning from her is always fun and I leave class feeling proud of myself.
Sorry this is a long comment. 🙂
This giveaway is super fantastic…someone is going to be a lucky duck.
I have been hooping for a year, but the hoop has been attached to me since! Recently I have been getting into playing with poi hoops, which are absolutely spectacular. I’ve been working on isolating both hoops in many different planes, and also creating my own fire minis w/ 4 spokes! Hooping is like meditating to me and it’s something I believe I will carry with me, friends, and family forever.
Have posted the link on facebook. I am a beginer to hooping as bought a weighted hoop from telcos but can do a lift with each hand and bring it back downs again was really pleased with it.
I love, love, love hooping with my daughter!! We laugh and dance and I feel like a kid again!

My new discovery is really a journey.I’ve been hooping since july last year, and now I’m on my hoop making journey. I’ve made a few figure8 hoops and learned I don’t like a heavy hoop. A strip of grip tape and a little bit of sparkle and my hoop preforms my will. Too heavy and it makes it work to hoop, ugh. So I havent yet felt the weight of this polypro tubing, but I am in desire to own one. And I am a little uncertain of the sanding, cuz along my journey I’ve also discovered I like slip and grip on my hoops. Thanks for an awesome contest, you rock!

Hooping has helped make my life completely rich and full of hoopiness! Its also wonderful that I can share my passion with my 8 year old son. He is an awesome hooped!
I’m working on the trick (not sure what it’s called) where you roll the hoop up one arm, across your back, and down the other arm. I had to take one link out of my Hoopnotica hoop to practice it though cause my hoops are just too big for a lot of the off-body stuff!!

Oh I want these so badly, Sara. I’ve had the SuperHooper website opened in a window of mine for a long time now trying to get up the nerve and funds to plunge in and get a polypro hoop. This would be awesome if I won.
Okay something I’ve discovered or am working on: I discovered that I actually CAN walk and hoop at the same time without falling over. It CAN be done! However, I’m still at a loss for walking while chewing gum. I’m working on getting my off body transitions down more smoothly. It’s been pretty rocky for a while now and I’m trying to crack down on it.

I’ve liked Superhooper!
I’ve shared my info to hooping tree (shannon herrington)
I’ve shared this on my facebook feed.
I don’t have a twitter or a Facebook and I also already have given Laura my hoop family info, so I guess my only chance of entering would be to leave you a comment. Yay!! So I haven’t been working on “moves” lately, but instead have been trying to approach my hoop practice as I do my yoga practice; with no expectations, egoless, and full of light and energy. It has given me a new perspective of all the positivity and benefits that a daily hoop practice can give me. Whether that be for 5 minutes, 30 mintes, or getting lost in the movement and hooping for an hour, I come nonjudgemental and hoop when it calls to me. Thank you, peace.
I’m working on chest reversals.
VERY COOL! I love hooping! I have 3 girls so we would have fun! Those look so much better than the ones we get at walmart that bend at the drop of a hat!
I liked Superhooper on Facebook! Glad I found you!
Shared entry on Hooping Family Tree. I’m a hooping “alien”, not just an orphan. Inspiration to hoop came after playing Wii Fit and the physics didn’t seem to add up. So hooping for me started out as a Science experiment. Only after Googling “adult sized hula hoop” did I become aware of the hooping community. I had been a hooper for a year before I connected with any other hoopers, but I’ve produced several “hoop offspring” of my own along the way. (And I have lost 71 lbs. since I started hooping!)
I am sharing on facebook. 🙂
I’m embarrassed to admit that I don’t have a hoop yet. In fact last time I did any hooping was about 10 years ago when I was a teenager. I’ve been wanting to get back into hooping lately, just never got around to it (you’d think I should have plenty of time on my hands with only 4 kids, right? 🙂
Now my oldest (soon-to-be 7 year old) is wanting to learn some hooping, and I can’t wait to spend our summer in the backyard hooping away with her!
Shared on Facebook! 😉
I don’t know moves because I have yet to start hooping. I just had a baby girl and have waited through my pregnancy to try hooping again. My son saw the pics of different color hoops and said, “Mama we need some of those to play with outside.” I totally agree with him!
I almost forgot I have a Twitter account!(Just got it about last week.) LOL I tweeted it!
My hoop’s broken, so I suppose you could say I’m working on getting a new hoop . . .
I liked on Facebook.
I am just starting so I’m just working on keeping the hoop up for more than 30 seconds 😀
Just started my hoop journey last month. Getting the hang of it I think, and am excited to learn more with each passing day! Discovered that I LOVE hooping!

Hi Sara!
I’m currently doing a 30/30 hoop challenge (30 minutes/day x 30 days) and loving it! Just learned a small bag of tricks (off-body) and am having a blast tweaking those. I tell everyone that will listen about hooping! I recommend your sites often, too. Thank you for being such an inspiration!
I love hooping. It is a great stress reliever. I had to give up hooping for awhile because the hoops I had were causing severe brusing do to a medicine I have to take. I got a chance to play with a polypro hoop my friend had and was amazed how it floated around me and to my amazment didn’t buise me. I know that may sound silly, but I felt like I had when I first discovered hoops because the weight wasn’t restricting me. I am saving up to be able to have my own hoop again so I can find that place where I can free my soul again my and not just watch my kiddos or friends

I’ve been hooping for almost a month and I can finally do the vortex! ^_^ I was so happy the first time I did it and didn’t smack myself in the head, lol!
Well, Iv done everything I can for the contest (sans twitter, I don’t have one), except share a hoop discovery! Iv been working on mini hooping and exploring more off the body moves using smaller hoops. I feel like I don’t learn anything until the hoop lets me… I can try all I want, then one day it will just happen suddenly!
Ps: the hooping tree was a really cool idea, Iv always wondered how others have heard of hoopdance. Im already a parent!! *sniff sniff* so proud…
I am new to hooping so I’m just working on basic moves. But it’s fun! I think it’ll be even more fun when I can master some more moves other than just circling my waist, hehe. Thanks for this giveaway, I’d put the hoops to good use!!!
I am a beginner hooper. I am currently working on getting the hoop up from my knees to my chest.
Loving the Spring Renewal of the HOOP! Enjoying time with my hoop on a daily basis. 😀 Go PolyPro!!
This is a very generous giveaway. Although I have just played around with the hula hoops while monitoring recess (i’m a teacher) my next move is to get some friends interested and try it! This would be a great way to start.
Hi Sara!
Well, I hate confessing this but I would really love to win these!!! I’m a bigger girl and my kids were so excited about hooping that they had me try it at a friend’s house…it was a homemade hoop she got somewhere and it was the first time I was actually able to keep it twirling around me!!! It didn’t last long but I have even been dreaming about it!!! These bright and colorful goodies would be shared and loved dearly as I learned from my sweet children and neighborhood kids! : ) Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway!

At seven months pregnant hooping is a bit more of a challenge to me! I love it and think it is better to do outside. Finding the smaller hoops easier for me to work with. Awesome!!!!!
I have been hooping for about a year and a half and recently become Hoopnotica Certified so I am sharing the love of the hoop with Southern NJ. But I am obsessed with a move I saw on YouTube by Babz – it is a combo that starts in a halo and you bring it in front grasp with both hands, bring over your head, then bring the hoop with the large opening in front of your, to eventually end with the hoop on your waist. It is just too much fun!!
…and on my twitter =)

I’m excited to see this new poly-pro hoops, I’ve been dying to try them so I still may need to get my hands on some either way! 🙂 ❤
I’ve been trying to use my feet more while hooping… catching the hoop with them, kicking it up, etc. I feel like that incorporates a whole different feel to the dance 🙂

Currently I am working on stalls, elbow, and one shoulder hooping. Hooping around my legs is still a battle but I’m getting better and working on perfecting it with practice practice practice! I look like you’re having soooo much fun in your video! I have never had the chance to use polypro hoops but I have been reading about them the past few days and they seem AmAzInG!

wasn’t really sure how to fill it out though, as i do not have a hooping “parent”. i started because i would see other mamas hooping at festivals and thought it looked like fun, but was always too shy to go up and ask em about it. i have learned a bit from various tutorials online and youtube videos, but overall it has been a solo journey for me. i have been trying to get friends into it though, so though i am a beginner in every sense, i may eventually have hooping progeny of my own. i just wasn’t sure what to put for parent on the family tree. maybe they could offer an option for those of us who just pick it up cause it looks fun but have no actual mentors?
Added info to the hooping family tree, as well.
Thanks for offering this giveaway!!
.first and foremost happy hooping!!*
.hooping for me has become a very pivtol aspect of my life* the flow of my hoop has become the flow of my everdays*the rhythm it releases strums the strings of my soul*feel the beat in my feet when hoop and finger tips meet*
.hooping is semi new/rare around my little part of earth*i am officially used to being known as “the girl with the hula hoop*” (laugh*) .for others the sight of a hoop instills curiosity and wonder, sharing the feeling of hula hooping/hoop dance, whether it brings new emotions of joy or reminissing child-like happiness;for the smiles on their faces and the sound of laughter it shares, the moment is pure bliss*
.for me the challenge these days with hooping is not being perfect or selfish with it, yet becoming/ discovering myself* learning patience and persistance with ALL moves old or new* and sharing this blessing with other surrounding me*
.hooping is love* share it*
.xo mae*
I’ve been working a lot with vertical tracing and surface rolls – trying to mix it all into the flow and makes things click. Think these gorgeous colored polypro hoops would be perfect for the job! They would also make some amazing gifts for my fellow hoop-sisters…
Awesome giveaway! I was just looking on their site yesterday drooling over the colorful polypro. I love this blog I have been a long time follower of your other blog and this blog inspired me to give hooping a try and now I’m hooked! My 2 older daughters and I love it and it’s been such a fun activity for us to do together. I’m currently trying to master chest hooping and my daughter just learned to hoop on one leg. 5 hoops would give me a hoop for each of my 5 children ( Baby isn’t old enough yet so I’d keep that one ; ) Fingers crossed xx

I’m still trying to get the bunny ears pass down… it may forever be my nemesis….
I’ve been teaching hooping tricks to my 3rd graders during recess. I would LOVE to give them some new hoops as a going away gift. Either way, I’m loving teaching something other than the 3 R’s 🙂
New discovery: this is a cross-pollination thing I’ve been working on with a juggling friend — using one cigar box while hooping.
Two favorite moves have come out of this so far — the Quincy (or Amazon warrior or crossbow) is where I place the cigar box perpendicular inside the hoop to resemble a crossbow. The hoop can actually be shot off the box if you angle it right! The move can also be combined with sustained spinning & looks really beautiful.
The second is a “Tik-Tok”: balancing the hoop on the corner of the box (while box is inside hoop) and “tik-tocking” the box back & forth. The corner acts as a fulcrum & the box can travel a little inside the hoop on a vertical plane.
We’ve discovered a few others but those are my favs 🙂
My newest “discovery” is incorporating yoga poses into my hooping. I’ll isolate the hoop in tree pose or stir-the-pot in warrior III.
Also “liked” you and super hooper on Facebook.

Thanks to a Facebook friend hooping is our new discovery she’s been posting videos of her daughter hooping and she just keeps getting better every week. They take a class together and I thought this would be a super fun thing to do with my daughter as well. We are just starting and don’t really know any tricks yet but we’re both excited to learn and we could use some nice hoops for our hooping journey 🙂
My discovery is the true peace that hooping brings everyone who allows it to enter them. I’ve been hooping for just about a year and a half and I’ve seen the changes it’s made in myself, my students and more importantly, what I believe was a life changing moment, when my husband picked up a hoop. My husband is a combat war vet from the Operation Iraqi Freedom “conflict”. For the past 6 years since he’s been home, I’ve been watching him fade
away, haunted by memories and visions of what he saw and did. They held him prisoner in his own mind and he rarely left our home. Things became very stolic and I felt the energy fade between and many a night I would go outside to our yard and hoop around, usually begining with tears, sometimes even anger and every single time, my mind would clear and joy would creep back into my heart and always reminding me who I am and how I love. This past Sunday evening I was hooping outside and saw my husband standing in the doorway watching. He shouted someting out to me and I stopped to ask him what he said. He repeated ” why do you always do that? You always come out here and hoopyhoop.” I didn’t even think when I answered with ” it fills my heart with joy and I forget all the bad”. He scoffed and went inside. A few moments later he appeared out in our yard and
had the hoop I made him last year and said ” I want to hoop, I want the bad to go away” We spent the next 60 minutes playing and laughing and hooping. At the end of the night he thanked me for hooping with him and never giving up on him. The next day, he checked himself into a 75 day PTSD ( post traumatic stress disorder) program at the Veteran’s Hospital. I’ve been trying everyday for 6 years to get him to do that. I’m sure it’s a combination of many things but I like to believe that hooping put a crack in the wall he’d built. Like it gave him a tiny glimpse of light and an idea of what his life will be again. To me, watching him hoop, even for a moment saved his life. That’s my hooping discovery.
Ok, so the sweet trick I’m pimping these days is a yoga/ hooping trick. Stand in mountain pose with your hoop resting on the back of your knees, bend your knees pinching the hoop and fold into downward dog. So now you are in ddog, with your hoop against the backs of your knees, lift one foot off the ground and with the arch of the lifted foot ” grab” your hoop and extend into
3 legged dog. Begin to rock your hoop back and fourth until you are able to spin it on your extended leg. Get your balance and take the same hand as the leg you are spinning on off the ground and extend into a full side plank. You will look like a big X with a hoop spinning on your foot. It is awesome and will make you laugh hard. Thank you!
Dawn…thanks so much for sharing your story. What an awesome breakthrough!! xxoo

Well, I don’t tweet, but my learning experience was…..some of us just are not meant to chest hoop! I am seeing a PT for a pinched nerve in my back being too over zealous in trying to chest hoop last fall. A year adn a half and I still couldn’t get it down.
So my new experiences are working on off body hooping for now as I have been told to put the hoop down for a while. Great, with the weather so beautiful.
I am working on isolations and pops and windmills now.

Lately I’ve been ridiculed by monsters in my life. I have nightmares and panic attacks during the day. The other day after little to no sleep and a feeling of complete terror I decided this was enough. I cried out to my Divinity to save my weary mind and heavy heart from darkness, She answered with a sunny sky, a stilled soul, and my best friend… my hoop. I felt as if I were a small child, my smiles so shy but radiating a inner peace and happiness. Just sitting with my friend, a dear and eternal love.
I’ve always struggled with finding balance in my wants and dreams with my hoop path, but how balance finds you can sometimes be surprising. I’ve been knocked off my feet and at one point nearly decided to stop spinning all together. It felt like a silly dream that I was not able to obtain.
But it’s in that moment of realization that I was blessed with a humbled heart.
It’s not about being the best.
It’s not about having the best technique, or flow, or unique style. Not about being the first to do something, or a youtube star.
It’s about your soul and your dance.
What hooping and dancing does to free your heart and open your mind… to love. To self acceptance.
I no longer dance with a fever to “be someone”…
I dance to hopefully inspire and motivate.
I feel that life’s struggles are not to go without being shared. They have purpose. To learn.
When I spin, I want you to see my inner beauty. The story of a girl who has and will persevere through broken hearts, tortured minds, and disappointment. To show beauty from ashes.
I’m not the best, there will always be better. But I am ME, and this is my journey.

It’s pretty cool, I wonder what it looks like on the outside.
