Crashing Waves and Open Space

3 Nov

We recently spent the afternoon at Avila Beach near San Luis Obispo, CA. The beach is absolutely beautiful with perfect, powdery sand. It was the first time in a LONG time that I felt FREE with my hoop. So much open space!!

I’ve been hooping inside the RV a lot…or on my little piece of astro turf that Matt bought for meΒ  for me at Home Depot πŸ™‚ Both are such small spaces that I can’t always find my flow very well. I loved hearing the crashing of the waves as I hooped and hooped and hooped. I will definitely be going back!

Nice! I still am so jealous of your natural hooping aptitude. I’m lucky if I can keep the blasted thing around my waist. πŸ™‚

Hooping on the beach (I’m originally from Southern California) is one of my favorite things! Actually – sand in my toes is just peachy no matter what I’m doing!

yes! we stopped on a lake in wisconsin that had a real beach and hooping there (although there were no waves crashing) was by far the coolest place to hoop. soft sand, beautiful water, gorgeous weather. so, so perfect!

The beach is where I started πŸ™‚ I still have yet to actually hoop on grass! Lately it’s either inside the RV or on the rocks & dirt outside
