Special Delivery

27 May

Looky looky!! I’m one excited girl right now. The FedEx man just delivered my Superhooper SuperMorph LED hoop and Alpha Poi Hoops!
I can hardly wait until it’s dark so I can light that baby up! And the mini hoops open up an entirely new world of hooping. Oh the joy! Thank you Lara!

I have been playing with Autumn’s hoop, I really really like working with the mini hoops. I kinda figure, one thing at a time. I’ll come back to the mini’s 😉

You are so cute!! I love the colors of the hoops.
Can you believe your blog has inspired this many strangers to get their hoop on?! I loved Catina’s post. Very inspiring. It was YOU that made her get her hoop back out! It was YOU that gave me an awesome new cheap hobby that is also my new exercise!
    Thank you. 🙂

Wasn’t sure where to put this, but I knew you would understand…I think your hoop love has rubbed off on me. I stayed out late in my front yard tonight trying to get one new thing down with the hoop I just finished making yesterday. It was so humid and I was beginning to break a sweat. Eventually, I achieved something that wasn’t on my mission list, but still pretty cool and I’m okay with that. Mission accomplished. The coolest thing I’ve discovered about hooping so far…it’s not like other activities (take rock climbing for example)…if you mess up while rock climbing – you could seriously injure yourself or worse. You have to pick yourself up and start again. With hooping…if I goof, all I have to do is pick my hoop up again, ’cause I’m still standing. I like that…it doesn’t make me feel like such a failure. I find it hard to stick with things that I can’t get within the first several tries, but hooping – it’s different. Thank you.

    bliss: love that video!!

Kristy: Yay! I love that about hooping too…that is what makes it so accessible and universal. Do you have a collapsible hoop so you can take it overseas with you easily? I subscribed to your blog…looks like you’re on a fun adventure. xxoo

No collapsible hoop yet. My husband has started hooping with me and he asked how we were going to take the hoops with us. I told him about collapsibles and he was like, “Yeah, we definitely have to get some of those.” He’s so funny. Blog is new, more updates as our move approaches. Happy hoops to you!
